      About
Michael was born in Remscheid Lennep Germany.
After going first steps in vocational training as a carpenter, he studied photography in Dortmund and design in Potsdam and Chicago under Prof Heiner Wilharm and Arno Fischer.

His training was completed by a one year traineeship at a studio for car photography, followed by working as graphic designer for companies like Vitra and berlin musiclabels and many years as production manager for fashion and still photographers.

Since 2004, he has worked on his own photo and design assignments. Michael runs his own studio in Berlin, with worldwide inspiration. He is collaborating and realizing projects successfully with different brands, artists, companies, publishers, designers and agencies all over Europe.

He likes to stage people in narrative and emotional still photography.
